ATAL and ELCO: Two programmes to develop the linguistic competence

Presented as two different linguistic projects answering different needs, ATAL answers the need that classrooms have to adapt to the newly arrived migrant children in a manner that also works an understanding of multicultural countries for the host country pupils. ELCO itself is a project developed to embrace second-generation migrant children of Spanish migrants which supports the retention of their parents native language.
