National Strategy for Integration

Ιn 2019, a renewed draft of the National Strategy for Integration of the Ministry of Migration Policy was successfully completed. In view of the above, the National Strategy for Integration outlines the phenomenon of migration both internationally and nationally in Greece, as well as the existing integration models in the country. In addition, it analyses the national legislation on legal migration and asylum and integration policies pursued so far. Finally, it outlines strategic goals and policy directions, and proposes actions to achieve them. The promotion of inclusion of the migrants/migrant children, applicants and beneficiaries of international protection into the education system, non-formal child learning and adult lifelong learning are some of the key priorities of the National Strategy for Integration.
