The Minister of National Education – Access to education of refugees in Romania

On September 24, 2019, the representatives of CNRED (National Centre for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas) participated in the thematic meeting dedicated securing access to education for refugees in the territory of Romania, organised in Bucharest by the National Council for Refugees in Romania.
CNRED’s contribution to the event was aimed at presenting the modalities of recognition of studies for access to higher education in Romania, in the context of the topics debated: The current legislative framework regarding the social integration of foreigners who have acquired a form of protection or right of residence in Romania, as well as the citizens of the member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area; Learning the Romanian language; enrolment and continuation of studies in primary, secondary and higher education etc.
